Our friend, Kerri belongs to a hiking club and has hiked these mountains and completed all of the 6 hiking challenges. She has actually walked the ridgeline of the Superstition Mountains. Kerri and her dog, Meghan go on quite a few hikes through the desert and surrounding areas. They have even been chased by a javelina!
Last evening as we were sitting outside, two hang gliders came along and gave us quite a show. We were waiting for the sunset and got entertainment to boot.
The sky changes color so fast at sunset. It went from rosy to coral to soft pink and then gone. Then the stars come out.
Since we are so close to Phoenix, at night you can see the lights of planes in the sky. It is amazing how many are together in one area.
